If you have a threaded barrel and you want to use the above setup instead of doing the full conversion you could get a piston, make floorplates or have them made, and then you would be set. That's why I tracked down a US made piston and made my own floorplates. Since mine was threaded and I wanted to use all foreign furniture and PG I had to have 5 US parts. Or take a few minutes and cut yourself out some floorplates for your mags. You could leave the FCG intact and either get a US made gas piston for 15 bucks shipped I take this to mean that if you have a shotgun with unthreaded barrel and you want to use the above setup from Ace (which is already two US parts, stock and PG) You only have to replace one more part. You are aware that this won't work for a Saiga 12, right You'll need this latch: Unfortuately, they are virtually impossible to find. Just a quick note - In your photo, you have a standard front latch for the triangle folder. US made shotgun chokes then you CAN USE either a importedīuttstock or a imported pistol grip, but not both. 1 2 Next thirtycal 2 Cool, I'm doing the same conversion myself. *** In either case, IF you have your Saiga barrel re-threaded to use common If you DO have a removable choke then you have to use both, a US made Pistol Grip and a US made Buttstock. If you DO NOT have a removable choke then you can use either a imported Pistol Grip or a imported Buttstock. The last addition to your parts count is your pistol grip. If your Saiga shotgun has a removable choke then your parts count is 14 and you will need to replace 4 parts to be compliant. Ive decided that If I was gonna buy an AK i was gonna commit and go some sort of Midrange rifle. This means you need to replace 3 parts to be compliant with 922r. 84 dollars over the past 12 months to a price of 2,167. Your Saiga shotgun has a parts count of 13.
